Seussical The Musical

Caleb is excited to make his return to Encore, having previously played Peter Pan in Shrek last fall. He has also played Sven in Frozen and Melvin the Bailiff in Goldilocks on Trial with Kids in the Spotlight. He also performed in Schoolhouse Rock and Welcome to Our Home for Christmas with the Mason Community Players. Caleb is 12 and will be in the seventh grade next year. He plays basketball, soccer and pickleball, and loves Beyblades and roller coasters.

Maddy is going into the 9^th grade at Edgewood High school. This is her fifth show with Encore where last year she played the Dragon in Shrek. She is very excited for everyone to see this amazing cast. She wants to thank her mother and uncle for getting her to practices every day and supporting her in everything she does.

Kelly is thrilled to make her debut with Encore, sharing the stage with two of her four sons!  Some favorite past performances include Pirates of Penzance (Kate), Wonderettes (Missy), Nunsense (Amnesia), Sentimental Journey (Andrews Sister), Godspell (Robin), 42^nd Street (Peggy Sawyer) and Singin’ in the Rain (Kathy Seldon).  In real life, Kelley is a homeschooling mom and co-op teacher.  She’d like to send love to her husband, Joe, and son, Luke, for holding down the fort while the three of us take time to sing and dance.

Ren is thrilled to return to the Encore stage after 10 years away!  Recent credits include Mrs. Pugh (Annie) and a featured soloist in Beechmont Players’ Once Upon a Time Cabaret.  Offstage, Ren is a creative dog groomer at Animal Arts Grooming Co. specializing in doodles, outline trims, and colorful, artistic grooming.  Ren also enjoys karaoke, dancing in Cincinnati’s OTR, and spending time with the people who keep them inspired.  Ren extends heartfelt thanks to their family, friends, and partner for their constant encouragement and support in bringing the Sour Kangaroo to life.  Ren hopes you enjoy the show!

Josh is very excited to monkey around on stage with the Seussical cast for his fifth Encore show to date. His past Encore performances include Mama Mia (2018), Music Man (2021), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2024), and Bye, Bye Birdie (2025). Josh gives his thanks to his mom, who has worked very hard on costumes and the social media pages. He hopes you enjoy the show.

Nick is excited to be doing his fourth show with Encore! His first ever community theater show was Encore’s One Upon a Mattress and ever since it has opened the opportunity for him to grow into himself as a person and as a performer. The other Encore shows Nick did were Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Bye, Bye, Birdie. Encore has helped Nick make many friends and many impactful people in his theater experience. He thanks Encore and hopes everyone will think all the thinks you can think when they see the show!

Lilly is going into her second year at Miami University working toward a degree in Communication Design. She has taken dance at Next Generation Dance for 15 years where she is now a teacher.  She also choreographed for and was part of Talawanda High School Show Choir. Previous shows that Lilly has been in are Annie, Jr., The Little Mermaid, Jr., The Wizard of Oz, Jr., Elf, Jr., Beauty and the Beast, and Damn Yankees.  She would like to thank everyone who has been part of her journey as both a performer and a choreographer.

This is Ashlyn’s second Encore show.Last year she was in Bye, Bye, Birdie. She is going into her senior year at Ignite Institute in Kentucky. Ashlyn just wants to thank many friends and family for supporting her. Enjoy the show!

This is Logan‘s first time on the stage. He has worked on crew for three other shows including Hello Dolly, Guys and Dolls and Annie. He wants to thank his beautiful fiancé Emma Brown. “I love you so much, Emma. Thank you for believing in me.” Also, he would like to shout out to his future sister-in-law, Hannah Neal for pushing him into getting out of his comfort zone and trying something new. “I believe everyone should try something new because who knows, you might fall in love with it.”

Davis is happy to be joining his first production with Encore! He has been doing theater in the area for a number of years with one of his favorite roles being Larry the Lobster in SpongeBob the Musical. Davis enjoys hanging out with friends, taking care of his cats and karaoke. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support. 

Isabella is a 6th grader at Brookwood Elementary School. She is excited to be back on stage after her last performance in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. When not on stage, Bella enjoys playing volleyball and basketball. She also dances competitively at NGD. Bella hopes you all enjoy the show!

Lilly is thrilled at the opportunity to help bring this whimsical world to life! She was previously in Matilda, Jr. at Ridgeway Elementary and was also in Ridgeway’s choir. When she isn’t singing or causing mischief on stage, she can be found in a good book or studying up on her dream to be a cosmetologist.  She hopes you enjoy this lighthearted, magical show.  She thanks the cast, crew, and most of all her family and friends for all of their support!

Mira is excited to be back on stage with Encore after playing in the Adams Family, Jr.  She is in fifth grade at Ridgeway Elementary School. She loves volleyball camp and wants to play with her friends. Mira hopes you all enjoy this fun show!

Emma is thrilled to be part of her fifth production with Encore! This is her second time doing Seussical, once now and once as just a 2-week-old baby! She has previously appeared in Seussical, The Music Man, The Little Mermaid Jr., The Addams Family Jr., Fiddler on the Roof, Bye, Bye, Birdie, and Shrek Jr. She is so grateful to her mom, dad, stepdad, Aunt Lizzie, Grandma Linda, Uncle Clay, and all of her amazing friends for their endless support. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has enjoyed being a part of it! And remember… a person is a person, no matter how small—especially if they’re standing center stage!

Fiona is a sophomore at Hamilton High. Her past show experience includes three years of show choir. Her love of musical theater includes Westside Story and Hamilton. When she’s not involved in a show, she enjoys reading, rollerblading, and her cats. Fiona is grateful to her mom, brother, friends and family for supporting her endeavors!

Kathy is so grateful to be performing with Encore again.  When not on stage, she loves directing shows with her friend Len.  She would like to thank her son, Sam, and daughter-in-law, Ellen, for encouraging her to share the stage with them.

Hannah is going into the 8th grade. This is her second Encore show. She is so excited for everyone to see this show. She wants to thank her parents and her aunt for getting her to rehearsals. Also thanks to her cousin for encouraging her to do this musical.

Molly is going into ninth grade at Edgewood High School. She is very excited to be in her third production with Encore.  Molly wants to thank everyone for coming out to see this amazing show. She would also like to thank Steven, Jamie and James for making this possible for her.

Cruz is excited to be back on stage with Encore after making his debut last summer as Randolph MacAfee in Bye, Bye, Birdie.  Cruz is a third grader at Ridgeway Elementary and loves to spend his summers on stage.  He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, building Legos, and playing outside.  He is thrilled to be part of this production and hopes you enjoy the show.
